You have a choice of 5, 6, 8, 9 or 16 fixed programs with our commercial washing machines (dependant on the model), or for even greater flexibility up to 99 programs of which 84 programs can be designed by yourself. All of this guarantees the perfect wash results all the time, every time.

Now For Something Big In Washing Machines!
The size of the available commercial washing machines has steadily increased over the years and the choice these days is between size and flexibility. The size range goes from 5 to 120 kg for an individual load size and there are of course advantages in each dependent on your market. Whilst the 120 kg washing machine seems large there are many operations that can benefit from such a unit size. It really depends on time and product line and it does not need a very large customer before the unit becomes viable.
The larger units are ideal where there are large items to wash, particularly where there are items such as duvets where the bulk and weight are such that they require a large machine to deal with them. Even in a 120 kg machine the space available soon becomes used. There are many such items but often they come as individual items, which then counter the argument for large machines.
The other product line is the mass market where the customer requires a vast number of items washed on a regular basis, often this is a daily wash and this is where the machine comes into its own.
The other advantages of a large machine is that the speed of washing large quantities then gives a good working load for further processing. This helps enormously with making the most of the workforce. If within a short while there is a full range of items ready for drying, ironing and folding the staff can be fully occupied. This is ideal for single or double shift working where the start of the day can be slow because of built in delays of getting product to the finishing lines.
These larger commercial washing machines are very efficient as the washing cycle is very short. The heating unit uses very low energy levels and the amount of water and detergent required has reduced significantly over the years. The advantages are obvious and the demand on the commercial laundry for a greener approach is already significant and can only get more demanding. Handling of such loads can be a problem but the units above around 60 kg can be fitted with a tilting system to reduce the problems. In this day and age there can be little reason for heavy lifting; whilst in the short term heavy lifting may seem quicker and more effective it can be a long term disaster.
